ArcLight commits $150m for storage projects

In a move aimed at capitalising on brownfield energy storage development opportunities within its 25GW power infrastructure portfolio, Boston-headquartered ArcLight Capital Partners has committed $150 million to Elevate Renewable Energy, a company it formed last year to develop and install utility scale battery energy storage systems. Elevate has a brownfield development pipeline of more than 5GW of potential capacity at approximately 20 sites.
