Avaada and REC partner on $1.8bn ammonia plant

Indian developer Avaada Group has secured a commitment from Indian finance group REC to invest in a $1.8bn green ammonia plant in the state of Odisha.

The companies have signed a memorandum of understanding to partner on the project, which is backed by the Odisha government.
