Celebrating Power-to-X

Two new categories added to our Wind Investment Awards 2023

We’ve made some changes to our Awards! The biggest change to the Wind Investment Awards in 2023 is the introduction of two new categories. Increasingly, wind developers and investors are working on projects and deals that link to other technologies, including green fuels. To reflect this, we are launching two categories for firms that truly have that ‘power-to-X factor’. They are:

  • Power-to-X Developer
  • Power-to-X Innovation

Power-to-X is a crucial part of the global energy transition as it can help decarbonise sectors where it would be tough to cut emissions by green electrons alone. We have all watched as energy security rose to the top of the global political agenda in 2022, and these two new categories will help us to recognise the best early movers.

Indeed, we believe it is vital to celebrate success throughout our awards. Energy has a crucial role in all of our lives, and it is right to mark the achievements of the people and companies that are leading this transition through turbulent times.
