Denmark names winners in 280MW power-to-X tender

European Energy, Electrochaea and Plug Power have won state aid for six projects totalling 280MW in Denmark's first power-to-X tender.

The Danish Energy Agency has awarded support for the following projects:

  • Biocat Roslev (10MW) in Rybjerg by Electrochaea
  • Idomlund green hydrogen plant (100MW) in Holstebro by Plug Power
  • Kassø e-methanol facility expansion (10MW) in Rødekro by European Energy
  • Maade green hydrogen facility phase two (9MW) in Esbjerg by European Energy
  • Padborg e-fuel facility (150MW) by European Energy
  • A project in Frederica by HyproDenmark and Everfuel
