Deutsche Bahn signs 60.7MW PPA with Centrica

German rail operator Deutsche Bahn has signed a two-year power purchase agreement for electricity from three wind farms in Germany totalling 60.7MW.

Deutsche Bahn has signed the PPA with Centrica, which is due to buy the power from the the trio of projects in January 2024 and then sell it on. Prokon developed the wind farms.
