DHL and Sasol form green jet fuels venture

German delivery group DHL and South African fuels firm are partnering with German hydrogen company HH2E to produce 'green' aviation fuels in Germany.

The partners are initially set to produce 200,000 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuels to supply airports in eastern Germany, including Leipzig/Halle Airport, and will grow production to around 500,000 tonnes annually. Airbus is also poised to join the consortium and become an off-taker.
