EDF Renewables UK has announced plans for a 400MW onshore wind farm in two areas of commercial forestry in the Scottish Borders region.

The utility has submitted a scoping report for the Liddesdale wind farm, which would be comprised of up to 80 turbines, as well as on-site solar and energy storage.
