Finance Quarterly magazine launches

Tamarindo expands its role as specialist wind finance publisher.

In April, Tamarindo launched an extended and upgraded edition of Finance Quarterly, its in-house magazine for its global membership of developers, investors and advisors, focussed exclusively on wind finance.

We are proud to offer this magazine, widening the circle of wind-finance-focussed intelligence that our network of executives can share with one another, and the world.

We do not make Finance Quarterly alone. We do it drawing on the advice of some of our most experienced members in the wind finance field. Tamarindo members recommended or came up with ideas for most of the in-depth analysis that sits between its two covers.

Each issue takes a deep dive into wind finance talking points thanks not only to the intelligence we have access to within our powerful finance industry membership, but the intelligence we have drawn on from within the ranks of leading global wind-focussed banks, firms and developers.

Take a deep dive into risk

Risk is this year’s theme, so come join us as each quarter we will be looking at risks in the supply chain, power market pricing, transmission constraint and finally, regulatory risk focus areas. Each issue will reveal that the industry must be agile in the changing sphere of inflationary wind finance that can bring peril, and, in some cases, opportunity.

For example, the first issue looks at supply chain risk. It is packed full of insights from banks and advisors who are daily coming face-to-face with issues such as project delays, rising capex and costly debt. We also have experts from Wood Mackenzie, Brinckmann Group and Naver assess the situation with European wind turbine manufacturers.

Our issue coming up in the Spring tackles merchant risk as its main focus. Alongside a conversation about PPA pricing and forecasting that has been made more challenging by volatility, we will feature PPA deal news and analysis, touching both European and US markets, thanks to Pexapark.

We will be celebrating each new issue of Finance Quarterly with a video series

To accompany the first quarter issue on supply chain risk, we have a series that takes a look at the evolution of Turbine Supply Agreements.

How can all the parties to the TSA strike a fair balance that deals with rising costs and risks? This is the question we put to our video panellists in the in-depth webinar and accompanying videos with forecasts on turbine agreements and pricing.
