Galp and Mitsui form green fuels venture

Portuguese multinational Galp and Japanese conglomerate Mitsui have set up a business to produce 'green' fuels for transportation, including planes.

Galp is set to own a 75% stake in the joint venture and Mitsui will hold the remaining 25%. The new company is set to produce 'green' fuels at a facility at Galp's Sines Refinery from late 2025.
