Hydrogen to be trialled at gas-fired power station
Centrica Business Solutions is to inject hydrogen into a gas-peaking plant in Lincolnshire, east England, to explore the potential role hydrogen could play in power generation. The 12-month trial is expected to commence in the second half of 2023 and will blend small amounts of hydrogen (about 3%) into the gas mix. This will rise to 20% in the later stage.
