Iberdrola secures PPA with steel giant

Iberdrola has won a 15-year power purchase agreement to supply German steel group Salzgitter with electricity from the 476MW Baltic Eagle offshore wind project.

Salzgitter has signed a 114MW PPA to buy electricity from the offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. The project is set to be commissioned next year.
