Ikea invests in 10GW Source Galileo portfolio

Ikea arm Ingka Investments has bought a 20% stake in developer Source Galileo's 10GW portfolio of development-stage offshore wind projects in Ireland and the UK.

The deal is part of Ingka's strategy to invest €6.5bn to support 100% renewable energy consumption in Ikea's value chain.
