Ilmatar adds storage to 211MW Piiparinmäki

Finnish utility Ilmatar and investor Glennmont Partners are adding a 30MW energy storage system to the 211MW Piiparinmäki wind farm in Finland.

The Piiparinmäki onshore wind farm is made up of 41 turbines. Ilmatar will build and operate the storage system, which will be owned by Glennmont.
