India reveals details of 7.2GW offshore tender

The Indian government has unveiled plans for a 7.2GW tender for seven offshore wind sites off the coast of Tamil Nadu.

India's Ministry of New & Renewable Energy will begin receiving bids in February 2024 for four sites with potential for 4.1GW of offshore wind capacity; and three sites with potential for 3.1GW in the 2024/25 financial year.
