Ingrid Capacity secures $97m of storage investment

Ingrid Capacity has secured approximately SEK 1bn ($97 million) of investments from BW Energy Storage Systems (BW ESS), a part of BW Group, to “accelerate growth” and deliver a 400MW pipeline of battery storage assets.

The projects will be delivered via strategic partnership with BW ESS. 

Stockholm-headquartered Ingrid Capacity said the capital injection would enable it to complete approximately  20 projects in Sweden.

DNB Markets (financial advisor) and Advokatbyrån Kane (legal advisor) advised Ingrid Capacity. Cirio Advokatbyrå (legal advisor) advised BW Energy Storage Systems.
