John Laing buys stake in Hornsea 2 grid link

John Laing Group has bought HICL Infrastructure's stakes in five UK infrastructure assets, including 37.5% of the Hornsea 2 offshore transmission line.

The £204m portfolio deal also includes stakes in four UK public-private partnership projects: two hospital schemes and two school-building partnerships. The five acquisitions are due to close before the end of March 2024.
