Lhyfe starts building third site

French hydrogen firm Lhyfe has started building its third green hydrogen production facility, in the Occitanie region of southern France.

The company is developing the Lhyfe Occitanie facility in Bessières in the Haute-Garonne department. The project is funded 80% by Lhyfe and 20% by regional energy and climate agency AREC Occitanie; and is due to be operational by the end of 2023.
