Lidl signs PPA at RWE's Kaskasi

European retailers Lidl and Kaufland have signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) for electricity from RWE's 342MW Kaskasi offshore wind farm.

The retailer's parent Schwarz Group announced the deal, which is due to take effect in 2028, with RWE Supply & Trading. Kaskasi is located in the German North Sea.
