Macquarie sells stake in 2.4GW portfolio

Macquarie Asset Management has agreed to sell the 50% stake its European Infrastructure Fund 5 owns in a 2.4GW portfolio of offshore wind assets to Equitix.

The fund is selling the 50% stake in the Offshore Wind Company, which owns stakes in eight UK offshore wind farms. This includes directly-owned stakes in the 400MW Rampion, 353MW Galloper and 210MW Westermost Rough projects; and indirectly-owned stakes in the 576MW Gwynt y Mor, 317MW Sheringham Shoal, 270MW Lincs, 196MW Lynn & Inner Dowsing and 90MW Rhyl Flats schemes.
