Malaysia to unveil green hydrogen export plan
The Malaysian government is set to unveil plans this year to establish the Asian country as a green hydrogen export hub by 2027.
Environment Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad told an event in Kuala Lumpur that the Hydrogen Economy & Technology Roadmap would include ways for the country to attract investment in green hydrogen production projects. He said the roadmap would support investment of $2.6bn by 2030.
This plan would complement Malaysia's National Energy Transition Roadmap, which was published last month.
