Massachusetts eyes 3.6GW tender

US state Massachusetts has set out plans for a 3.6GW offshore wind tendering round in early 2024 that would be the US state's largest.

The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources and electricity distribution companies have jointly filed a request for proposals for the state's fourth offshore wind solicitation round. Under the draft timeline, bids of between 400MW and 2.4GW each would be due by 31st January 2024.
