The Dutch government has increased the subsidies it plans to offer to green hydrogen projects in the coming years by €4.9bn to almost €14bn.
The government said last week that it would bolster its previously-announced €9bn budget for green hydrogen subsidies by €1bn in 2024 and €3.9bn in the following years. The Netherlands is looking to achieve 4GW of installed green hydrogen capacity by 2030 and 8GW in 2032.
