Ocean Winds signs Brazilian offshore deals

Offshore wind developer Ocean Winds has agreed three partnerships in the last week to advance its expansion in the Brazilian market.

The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the state of Rio de Janeiro to partner on offshore wind projects, including the 5GW Ventos do Atlântico scheme in the region, and strengthened its partnership with the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

In addition, Ocean Winds has linked up with Brazilian logistics firm Prumo to accelerate the development of offshore wind in Brazil.
