Ocean Winds to sell Moray East stake

Offshore developer Ocean Winds has agreed to sell a 16.6% stake in the 950MW Moray East offshore wind farm in UK waters to Equitix.

The deal will reduce the stake that Ocean Winds, which is a joint venture between EDP Renewables and Engie, holds in Moray East to 40%. Diamond Green holds 33.4% and China Three Gorges owns 10%.
