Pattern starts building 550-mile SunZia link

Pattern Energy has started building the 550-mile SunZia transmission line after securing final approval from the US Department of the Interior.

SunZia Transmission is a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line between central New Mexico and south-central Arizona, with the capacity to transport 3GW of renewable power from Pattern's 3.5GW SunZia Wind project in New Mexico.
