Powin and EVE Energy enter 10GWh supply agreement

Oregon-headquartered energy storage platform provider Powin has entered into a 10GWh supply agreement with battery cell supplier EVE Energy.

The agreement will support a portion of capacity for Powin’s flagship project, the 1,850MWh Waratah Super Battery in Australia.

EVE will supply the LFP battery cells that are integrated into Powin’s ‘Centipede’ platform, and optimised by its proprietary ‘StackOS’ software.
