Rhode Island Energy rejects Revolution 2 PPA

Rhode Island Energy will not proceed with a power purchase agreement for the 884MW Revolution Wind 2 offshore project by Ørsted and Eversource Energy.

The project was the sole bidder in US state Rhode Island's offshore wind solicitation, but Rhode Island Energy said the scheme "did not meet all the requirements" of the Affordable Clean Energy Security Act.
