RWE signs 1GW Siemens Gamesa deal

RWE has signed a framework agreement with Siemens Gamesa to buy 1GW of turbines for onshore wind farms in Europe by 2027.

The German utility is mainly set to install Siemens Gamesa's 5.X turbines under the terms of this agreement. The 5.X machines have flexible rated output of between 6.6GW and 7GW.
