Siemens Gamesa nets 1.5GW Polish order

Ørsted and PGE Baltica have placed a firm order with Siemens Gamesa for 107 turbines for the 1.5GW Baltica 2 project in Polish waters.

The manufacturer is set to supply 14MW turbines for the offshore wind project, which is around 40km off the northern coast of Poland between Łeba and Ustka. The project is due to be commissioned in 2027.
