Siemens wins provisional guarantees in Germany

Siemens has secured a provisional deal with the German government for billions of euros in project-related guarantees for Siemens Energy.

Reuters has said the guarantees, which are reportedly worth around €15bn, would support Siemens to supply technology including wind turbines. The agreement needs to be formally drawn up and approved by Siemens Energy shareholders.
