Statkraft agrees to buy 260MW Brazilian pair

Statkraft has agreed to buy two onshore wind farms in Brazil with total capacity of 260MW from EDP Renovaveis.

The Jerusalém and Boqueirão projects are located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Statkraft currently owns 450MW of operational renewables projects in Brazil and is building an additional 600MW of wind power in the state of Bahia.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is due to conclude this year.
