Topsoe plans Indonesian ammonia hub

Danish gas company Topsoe has signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a 1GW low-carbon ammonia production facility in Indonesia.

Topsoe has agreed to develop the project with Copenhagen Atomics, Alfa Laval, Aalborg CSP, Pupuk Kaltim and Pertamina New & Renewable Energy. The company said the project would produce 'ultra low emission' pink ammonia using waste heat from nuclear facilities.
