Vestas confirms 1.1GW Baltic Power deal

Vestas has secured a firm order to supply 76 turbines for the 1.1GW Baltic Power offshore wind project in Polish waters.

Orlen and Northland Power are developing the project in a 51:49 joint venture. The pair confirmed earlier this week that the project has achieved financial close, and it is due to be commissioned in 2026.
