VSB secures €211m for repowering project

German developer VSB has secured a funding package totalling €211m for the 105.6MW Elster wind repowering project in Saxony-Anholt, Germany.

VSB has secured funding from Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and DZ Bank for the project, which is due to be commissioned in the first half of 2025. Of the total €211m loan volume, €175m is in long-term loans of more than 20 years.
