Zinc8 approved for $9m New York grant

New York State has developed a reputation as one of the most forward-thinking US states when it comes to facilitating the wider deployment of energy storage. In one of the latest developments, system provider Zinc8 Energy Solutions has been approved for a $9 million grant from the Empire State Development, a New York economic development corporation. The grant will take the form of tax credits that are being offered as an incentive for the company to locate and establish its first US-based production facility in New York State.
