It is widely accepted that green hydrogen will play a key role in the future energy system, but with regulations, infrastructure and financing mechanisms still developing, there is a considerable way to go. Today, green hydrogen accounts for a tiny percentage of total global supply and operational green hydrogen projects remain in small numbers.
