Accelerating Wind Turbine Performance in 2021

Companies in the wind industry are under constant pressure to lower costs and raise profits. Too often though, operators don’t understand how to take advantage of new profit-boosting technologies while working within restrictive OEM servicing contracts.

In this webinar, we look at why these conflicts are undermining operators' optimisation strategies. We discuss how operators can leverage new technologies to improve the profitability of projects while also working with OEMs in long-term servicing deals. We also look at the growth of the OEM servicing market; what the changes in Full Service Agreements mean for investors and operators; and the technologies that operators should use to reduce O&M costs and increase annual energy production (AEP).

This webinar will address:

  • What are the pressures wind operators and utilities are facing with operating their fleets going into 2021?
  • Is the growth of OEM servicing arms a help or hindrance to overcoming wind's biggest O&M challenges?
  • How are the Full Service Agreements (FSA) and Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) evolving?
  • What steps can operators and utilities take to meet contractual power requirements within those limitations?
  • How can operators embrace new technologies despite the restrictions of those types of deals?
  • How is data availability and standardization affecting both the suppliers and operators?

Speakers:

  • Ben Cook, Editorial & ContentWriter, Tamarindo Group
  • Eduardo Garcia Pérez, AssetOperations Director - Spain, EDP Renewables
  • Geoff Hoffheinz, Chief Engineer,Glennmont Partners
  • Ted Pruss, VP of North AmericaService, Siemens Gamesa
  • Paul van der Weg, ManagingDirector - Canada, Siemens Gamesa
  • Óscar Pérez, Director of Sales,EMEA, WindESCo
