Carlos Martin Rivals

Carlos has worked in the energy sector for over 15 years. As Director for Floating Wind at EDP Renewables, he was responsible for the WindFloat Atlantic project successfully achieving FID in 2017. This project was the 1st floating wind project to secure project finance structure.

Before joining EDPR, he worked for 8 years at McKinsey & Company in the energy practice. Prior to founding BlueFloat Energy he was General Manager, Europe & Asia at Prosegur.

Carlos is an Adjunct Professor of Strategy at IE Business School and holds an MBA from Insead and a MSc. in Civil Engineering from ENPC&UPM.
