Biography
With over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, Mr. Kolliatsas leads the global offshore wind business for UL. He has expertise in due diligence services for offshore wind, having been involved with projects exceeding $25billion including several world and country firsts. Mr. Kolliatsas has managed and lead hundreds of renewables projects across the globe supporting financiers in their decision making. Apart from due diligence, he has supported project sponsors with the development of their projects or as Owner’s Engineer with recent projects located in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. He also has led the work for the renewables program in South Africa (REIPPP) and supported the Low Carbon Contracts Company which is responsible for administering the CfD regime in the UK. Mr. Kolliatsas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Technology from the Technological Educational Institution of Athens and a Master’s in Energy Systems and the Environment from the University of Strathclyde.
