Biography
Edwina Kelly is a Managing Director in the Sustainable Energies Group team at CPP Investments. Edwina focuses on the power sector in the Americas where she leads origination, new investment and asset management activities. Edwina is currently a board member of Essential Utilities (NYSE: WTRG), one of the largest publicly traded water, wastewater and natural gas providers in the U.S, and Cordelio Power, a renewable developer and IPP in the USA and Canada.
Prior to joining CPP Investments in January 2019, Edwina was a Director in the private equity team at EFG Hermes focused on European and North America wind and solar investments, as part of EFG’s Vortex renewable energy platform.
Edwina joined EFG in 2015 from Lightsource Renewable Energy (now LightsourceBP), Europe’s leading solar developer, where she was responsible for structured finance and asset sales. Prior to Lightsource she worked at Innisfree, a PFI/PPP dedicated infrastructure fund manager.
Edwina is a Chartered Accountant, having trained at Deloitte in M&A Tax and has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
