Karl Smith

Karl Smith is the managing director at Macquarie Group, with his specialties including Investment Banking, Principal Investing,Infrastructure Finance and Private Equity. Having been part of Green InvestmentGroup since 2012, he joined as a Fund Managing Director – Head of funds management.After nine years in this capacity he moved to his current role at Macquarie, empowering people to innovate and invest for a better future.

Karl’s previous experience featured the role of Partner at Hideal Partners, as well as positions in Babcock & Brown, ABN AMRO,Macquarie Bank and KPMG Advisory.
