Biography
Omar joined Apex Clean Energy in 2020 as VP of M&A and Finance.
He has 15 years of experience focused on advising, investing, structuring, and selling renewable energy companies, projects, and various energy technologies.
Prior to Apex, Omar was an executive director at Moelis & Company, where he advised various renewable energy, power, and utility clients on M&A and capital formation.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment manager at Leaf Clean Energy Fund, and he began his career at JPMorgan in the Energy Investment Banking Group.
He earned his BA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
