Biography
Paul Pace is a Sr. Vice President and Team Leader of Energy Banking Group Portfolio Management (BGPM) in the Debt Capital Markets business at KeyBank. The Energy BGPM team is responsible for credit underwriting, origination and structuring as well as account management for the bank's Utilities, Power and Renewables vertical. Additionally, Mr. Pace oversees KeyBank’s P3 lending activities. In the mid 2000s, Mr. Pace helped spearhead KeyBank’s entry into renewable project finance, becoming the largest domestic lender in the space. His team currently manages a diverse portfolio with commitment levels of more than $15 billion.
Mr. Pace began his career with KeyBank in 2002, completing Key’s Management Associate training program. After serving in various capacities in the Large Middle Market and Portfolio Monitoring Group, Mr. Pace joined the Institutional Bank in 2003 as an Analyst. In 2004, he joined the Energy Group and was named Team Leader in 2011.
Mr. Pace earned a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.A. from The Ohio State University School of Journalism.
