Tom Siegel

At Longroad Energy, Tom is responsible for integrating wind, solar, and energy storage projects into the utility grid. Prior to joining Longroad, Tom led the transmission teams for 8minutenergy, SunEdison, and First Wind.  Before moving into the renewable energy sector, Tom led the Transmission Operations Engineering team at PG&E, enforced compliance in the California energy markets at CAISO, and planned the transmission system for PECO Energy. Tom’s more than thirty years of experience have enabled him develop more than 5 GW of renewable generation throughout the US, including two of the first hybrid wind/energy storage projects in the country.
