Finance 2015

Our Finance 2015 report, published in January 2015, looks ahead to some of the key trends in wind energy finance in 2015.

About this report

The global wind industry continued to grow during 2014, despite long-lasting effects from the world financial crash that started in 2008. But can this continue through 2015?

It won’t be easy. The world economy is still in a parlous state and at risk of recession. Even if this doesn’t happen, we still expect developers and investors to face financial challenges next year.

In this report, we will talk to leading experts to get their views on what the state of the economy means for established markets in Europe, North America and Asia. This includes the impact of continued low interest rates on project financing; the prospects for the US given the uncertainty over the wind production tax credit; and scaling back of subsidy support in established markets.

This will tackle key trends we see for wind financing in the next year. Can you afford to miss out?
