Middle East
Our report focuses on the Middle East, published in March 2015, on how the oil-rich region is embracing wind — both at home and abroad.
About this report
The Middle East would appear an unlikely location for wind energy investment. The region is best known for its plentiful fossil fuel resources and its hotspots of instability.
But change is afoot. Middle Eastern investors are increasingly active overseas, in both established and emerging markets; and turbines are starting to go up in projects across the region.
In this report, we talk to leading experts to get their views on what the emergence of companies from the region, including Masdar and ACWA Power, means for the wind market. We also look at what opportunities there are for companies in established markets to take advantage.
The Middle East is a new frontier for wind energy. Can you afford to miss this insight?
