We spoke to Thilo Langfeldt, Head of Business Development, Wind Power at Meventus about inflation-linked changes to wind turbine supply agreement pricing, PPAs and auctions across Europe.
In particular, he suggests improved offshore wind permitting processes to speed project development in Sweden.

Thilo has arranged for the procurement of at least 4,000 MW of wind turbines over more than 40 wind projects, including projects sourcing wind turbines from China.
Thilo joined Meventus in 2016. There he provides management consulting within business negotiations. Meventus is a renewable energy consultancy and service company with offices in Norway and Sweden, delivering services throughout the wind power project life cycle to customers throughout Europe and beyond
At the same time, Thilo is also Managing Director at Strategy Engineers Energy, a spin-off of German management consulting company Strategy Engineers. The spin-off has a focus on the renewable energy and automotive industries.
Prior to joining Strategy Engineers, he was head of procurement at floating wind developer Hexicon, negotiating a floating turbine supply and service agreement for the Dounreay Trì Floating Wind Demonstration Platform.
Starting off as a strategic planner for Siemens AG, Power Generation, he was also a Senior Project Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton and a Principal at Ricardo Strategic Consulting.
