Biography
Dominik Thumfart is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Origination, Transportation, Infrastructure & Energy, on Deutsche Bank´s Global Credit Financing Solutions platform. In this role, Dominik leads origination of structured credit opportunities with institutional investors (particularly the leading infrastructure funds globally) and a select number of strategic investors (including renewable project developers, independent power producers, and asset managers and operators of transportation & logistics, telecom, and health care infrastructure assets).
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank Group in November 2008, Dominik spent fifteen years in mostly structured finance roles at Citigroup, predominantly in Frankfurt, London, New York, and Vienna. He was made a Managing Director in 2004 and between 2004 and 2008 was the EMEA Business Head of its Asset Finance Group, Global Markets, based in London.
Dominik holds a Master and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Wirtschafts universität Wien (ViennaUniversity of Economics and Business Administration) and a Master of European Management (CEMS) obtained through his studies at Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas (ESADE) in Barcelona.
