Biography
Prajeev Rasiah is the Executive Vice President and regional manager for DNV GL Energy in Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa (NEMEA). Prajeev leads the company’s regional advisory services in the renewable energy and power transmission sectors, delivered by over 500 people in 15 offices, generating €65 million in revenues each year.
Prajeev has 23 years of experience in the Energy industry across both the oil & gas and renewables/power transmission industries. In DNV GL, Prajeev has held various operational and management roles starting from Principal consultant through to Area Manager, Regional Manager and Director for some of the company’s UK legal entities: Garrad Hassan & Partners, Garrad Hassan Group Ltd, DNV KEMA Ltd and Garrad Hassan Ireland Ltd.
Prior to moving to DNV GL, Prajeev had various technical and management consultancy roles with Jardine, Schlumberger and KPMG. Projects included working with an Integrated Oil & Gas Super Major on an IT support organisation transformation project, setting up a technical career ladder for a National Oil Company, establishing an enterprise risk management system for a large European Petrochemical company and carrying out over 50 operational risk and reliability assessments for upstream oil and gas customers globally of varying sizes, from blue chip energy companies to service contractors. Prajeev has a technical background with a BENG (Hons) in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College, University of London, an MBA from Henley Management College, University of Reading, and is a Fellow and Chartered Director at the Institute of Directors, London.
